My sweet daughter, Heather came over and made me dinner for my birthday. Who knew she would turn out to be such a wonderful cook! It was one of the sweetest things anyone has done for me. Thanks sweetie!

Aubrey had 40th birthday party for Ashley at Longhorns. He thought he was coming to a party for me so he was really surprised. She and his Mom bought tickets to the NASCAR races so he was super excited. Happy Birthday Ashley! We love you!

My favorite time of year!!
Oh how I love the month of October( in spite of the fact that my birthday is in this month) I do not like the summer, in fact I HATE it. I would not live in the south if it weren't for my kids and grandkids(especially the grandkids :-)) I love the crisp, cool air. I love Halloween too, it is my favorite holiday. Yes, even above Christmas. I guess I am a little wierd that way. Morgan came over and helped me decorate this weekend and she was a tremendous help. I think we did a pretty good job. Charles is still working on the outside but it is looking pretty scary. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!
Personal Progress Night
Gabbie had YW Personal Progress last night. It was wonderful. That is such a great program for girls and women. I wish they had that program when I was in YW. Gabbies part was about virtue. I especially loved the scripture she read" Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies". She also did a table display on making jam. It was a great night!
