My first time holding Maddie and Gracie was amazing! They are doing so well. Gracie is almost 4 lbs and has moved up a level( Yeah!!) Maddie is now 2 lbs 2 oz and is almost ready to move up too, she just needs to gain a little more weight. Also I think her Nurses are so in love with her that they don't want to let her go just yet. Mikelene was able to see them the other day and it was exciting for us to show them off. We feel sooooooo blessed!

Baby update
I am sooooo excited! The " girlies" are doing so good, its such a blessing! Aubrey and I went up today and she was talking to Maddie and she opened her eyes real wide (for the first time) and kept looking at her Mama and then when we went to leave, Aubrey told her goodbye and she smiled! I promise, just ask Aubrey. Now some people would say that was just "gas" but I am not one of them. I am convinced she knew it was her Mama. It was so sweet. Gracie is doing good too, she is all over the place like the "wild child" she was in utero. We are so blessed that they are doing so well. Prayers really work! Thanks again. I will post pictures as soon as they are a little bigger.

The Twins are finally here!
Ashleigh Grace" Gracie" and Jennifer Madelyn " Maddie, are finally here! They were born Friday Feb 20 at 11:20 and 11:21 am. Gracie weighed 3 lbs 9 1/2 oz and is 17 inches long. Her " Little" sister Maddie weighed in at 1 lb 12 oz and is 12 1/2 inches long. They are both stable and doing better than expected. In fact, Maddie( known as Baby B) is doing a little better than her big sister. She is not even on oxygen as of today. Gracie is on a c-pap machine but is doing very well. We want to thank you all for the love and prayers we have felt this past month. Please continue to pray for Aubrey and her babies.

Aubrey update
Well Aubrey is still hanging on. Almost to the 31 week mark( I never would have believed it considering how sick she is) The Lord does really answer prayers. She is in alot of pain though because the swelling is unbelievable, so please continue to pray for her. They have said they will deliver her at 32 weeks which is just a week and 4 days away. Thanks again for all the visits, prayers and love. I have posted a really good pic of her and Charles. Aubrey, we all love you!

My experience with a Vampire
My adopted Grandkids
You know sometimes in life, you meet people that you have such a connection with, almost like they are related to you. Well these 2 girlies are so prescious to me. They are like my grandkids! I get to sit with them on Sundays and pass notes back and forth ...... sshhhhhh!
I am looking forward to Spring again so we can go to the Zoo or somewhere fun. I love you, Morgan and Caitlin.
Mom
I miss my Mom! Even though we have our " issues" :-)) I was driving home from Jamies last night and thought about her and pulled out my cell phone to call her and then realized she was in HONG KONG!!! Bummer! I know she is where she should be but it doesn't make me miss her any less. Momma, I love you!
16 years
Thursday night was my anniversary!! 16 glorious years, ok so I lied a little :-) but most of them have been wonderful, what with 6 kids and all! Seriously, no one and I mean " NO ONE' would have put up with me for 16 years other than Charles. He is my best friend and I am so blessed to have him. I almost lost him a few years ago and whenever he really gets on m nerves, I think about that and it softens me a little and makes me feel grateful. Honey, I love you!!!

A Special Day
Yesterday was Prestons' blessing and it was most definitely a blessed day. His Grandfather gave him a beautiful blessing that I know will help him in years to come. Most of our immediate family was there and those that couldn't be there, I know were there in spirit. Preston looked so beautiful! I know you don't usually say that about boys but he really did. He is such a "pretty boy". He gives me and I am sure I can speak for all our family ....so much JOY!

Aubrey update
She is still hanging on......to tell you the truth I didn't think she would last this long. Prayers really have made the difference, of that I am sure! They did a growth test on the babies Friday and Baby A weighs about 3 lbs and Baby B about 2 lbs. Baby B is hard to scan because she moves around so much and Baby B overlaps her so we are hoping she is a little bigger. The Drs say the tests are not always "completely" accurate. Aubrey got to go outside for a little while yesterday in a wheelchair.....Shhhhhhh , they actually snuck her out when she supposed to be on her daily "4th floor" ride( ha ha) The weather was beautiful and I am told she loved it. Can you imagine being confined in the same place for 15 days? I personally think it was good for her. She also got to tour NICU which really opened her eyes to what she is facing. She got to see a 29 week old baby and she said it was great incentive to hang on a little longer. Right now we are shooting for 32 weeks which is 2 1/2 weeks away. Please contine to pray that she makes it. Your thoughts and prayers are what has kept our whole family going. I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart. We have the best family and friends in the WHOLE WORLD! We are very grateful.

Aubrey update
Just to let you all know that Aubrey is doing alot better. I think she has resigned herself to the fact that she is not going home until those babies are born. She is in much better spirits. We watched a Tyler Perry movie tonight and had a great time. Thanks again for all the prayers.

My Daughter in law
I know one thing I have the best daughter in law in the whole world. She is not only beautiful but she is so unselfish and caring. She is also so easy to please. I can't imagine our family without her. I was thinking about her tonight because she has been such a big help to our family during this difficult time. She has been so good with helping with Gabbie and Morgan. She even took Morgan up to bear her testimony for the first time!!! Thanks for all your love and support!
Tough Times
Please , Please continue to pray for Aubrey. She is so tired. I know she knows that keeping the little peanuts in there a while longer is the best thing but she is such an active person that laying in that hospital room is driving her( and me :-) crazy. I will be so glad when they are here and this difficult time is over and I know that Gabbie and Morgan miss their Mama!

And She's Off
Well my Mom is off to Hong Kong on her mission. She left Sat. and reports to the MTC on Monday. I wish I could be there! I didn't think it would affect me as deeply as it did. I had a great "cry" on friday. I am very proud of her though and know this is where she is supposed to be. I know it was so hard for her to leave with everything that is going on so say a prayer for her. Here are some pictures from the airport.........
Update on Aubrey
Well Aubrey is still holding although signs are that it won't be long before they have to deliver her. Her platelets are dropping which means they will have to deliver her soon because of blood clotting issues. I have to say I have faith that everything will be ok but I am so scared! I saw her last night and she looks so tired . I am convinced that the only thing keeping those babies in there is the prayers. Please keep them coming! I love all of you very much!
