MY Children

I realize that I focus alot on my "grandchildren", after all they are one of lifes greatest joys for sure, but I don't say enough about my "children" so although this may embarrass them, here goes:
Jason, what can I say, I am so proud of him! He has overcome so many obstacles in his life to get where he is today. He is a HS teacher and a really good one at that. He is a good, kind , decent human being. He is very good to me.

Heather, she is so smart and one of the "kindest" women I have ever met. She is always willing to help a family member out. She is always accepting, never judging. She is very creative. She always has time for me to just talk! She is a good listener and a great sounding board for me and I am sure others as well. She is a great teacher to her children.

Aubrey, she is such a great Mom! She runs a tight ship but is raising kind, obedient, smart, respectful, well rounded children and that is an amazing feat in the world today. She is always there for me, especially when I have been sick or recovering from surgery.She is very creative and talented .She is also a good friend to alot of people ,especially to me. She is a really good listener.

Sallie, she is very sensitive and also extremely intelligent! She tries to act tough sometimes but underneath that exterior is someone who is very unselfish and would do anything for a friend. She has taught me alot about everything. If I need to know anything about a certain subject,she can usually tell me. She adores animals and has dedicated her life to that cause. She is also very creative. She also has an amazing singing voice.

Jamie, she is extremely artistic in SO many ways. She is a hard worker who loves her family. She is a loving Mom who has accepted parenting responsibility to 2 children that she did not give birth to, but you would never know that they are not hers by birth. She is so good to them and its obvious they love her very much. She is also very smart and I am convinced there is nothing she can't figure out how to do. She also has a beautiful singing voice. I can always count on her to call me every day( sometimes more than once :-))

Jimmy, my baby boy :-) he is extremely talented musically. His voice is beautiful. He is very smart and except for a few instances growing up( I am sure there were some I didn't know about LOL) never gave me any trouble. He is very sensitive, how could he not be, with all these girls! He has never met a stranger and everyone who meets him like him. He has ambition and wants to make a better life for his family. He loves his wife and Son very much. He served a mission in Africa for the Church. He is a good father. He is Patriotic!

So as you can see, I am very blessed to have all these beautiful, talented and good children. When they were growing up and things were so hectic and there were so MANY of them and so MUCH to do, I used to think that I would be thrilled to see them all grow up and leave! As I write this blog, I have to admit, I am crying because I MISS them so much( not that I want anybody to move back home :-))I miss the days when they were all tucked into bed and I knew where they were. I miss the sound of their voices, calling my name, hearing them come home, sitting around the table eating or playing games, sometimes I even miss the arguing! It is so quiet sometimes and I thought I would love it but most of the time I don't. So all you young parents out there, take my advice and CHERISH every second because it will all pass way too quickly. And to my 6 wonderful children, I Love You with all my heart and pray for you daily. I am so proud to be your Mother.
